vProtect + Proxmox

Hello and welcome. I need help with the following setup. External NFS resource on NAS, Proxmox virtualizer, vProtect as a VM on a centos on the same virtualizer. The NFS resource is mounted to Proxmox and to the virtual machine. Unfortunately, when creating a copy, the machine image is copied to the staging spacer but is not copied to the destination folder. Files created with staging spacer are owned by root root and user vprotect cannot access this file. How to improve it? Where should I create the /etc/exports file? On a virtualizer or on a virtual machine with vProtect? Have I messed up or missed something?

Witam serdecznie. Potrzebuje pomocy przy następującej konfiguracji. Zewnętrzny zasób NFS na NAS , wirtualizator Proxmox, vProtect jako maszyna wirtualna na centosie na tym samym wirtualizatorze. Zasób NFS jest zamontowany do Proxmoxa oraz do maszyny wirtualnej. Niestety podczas tworzenia kopii obraz maszyn jest kopiowany do staging spacer ale nie jest kopiowany do folderu docelowego. Pliki tworzone w staging spacer mają właściciela root root i user vprotect nie może dostać się do tego pliku. Jak to poprawić? Gdzie należy utworzyć plik /etc/exports ? Na wirtualizatorze czy na maszynie wirtualnej z vProtect? Czy coś namieszałem lub przegapiłem?

Hello,

First of all, I would ask you to confirm whether the backup method "Export storage repository" is used.
The file /etc/exports should be on the vm where the node is, I would ask you to use the command "cat /etc/exports" and "id vprotect" and send the result.

Dzień dobry,

Na początku prosiłbym o potwierdzenie, czy wykorzystywana jest metoda backupu "Export storage repository".
Plik /etc/exports powinien znajdować się na vm gdzie jest node, prosiłbym o użycie polecenia "cat /etc/exports" i "id vprotect" oraz przesłanie rezultatu.

Poniżej wklejam jeszcze link do naszej dokumentacji, gdzie jest przedstawiony sposób stworzenia exportu na NFS.
